Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello
Mugello is Ferrari's private circuit, set in the breathtaking hills of Tuscany. This fast, flowing circuit is one of the most respected in Europe, even though it only hosted its first F1 race in 2020. With its mix of fast corners, elevation changes and the beautiful Tuscan landscape as a backdrop, Mugello is a dream location for any driver. The circuit is used mainly for MotoGP and is a popular testing venue for car manufacturers.
Although racing had taken place in the region since the 1920s, the modern circuit opened in 1974. Ferrari bought the circuit in 1988 and has used it as its primary test track ever since. In 2020 Mugello hosted its first F1 race — the Tuscan Grand Prix — won by Lewis Hamilton. The circuit is better known as a fixture on the MotoGP calendar.
