Red Bull Ring
The Red Bull Ring, formerly known as the Österreichring and A1-Ring, is one of the most spectacular circuits in the world in terms of location. Nestled in the green hills of Styria, the circuit offers breathtaking panoramas combined with challenging elevation changes. With just 10 corners over 4.3 kilometres, the circuit is short but intense — every corner counts and mistakes are punished immediately. The uphill approach to Turn 1 and the fast descent to Turn 3 are unforgettable.
The original circuit, the Österreichring, opened in 1969 and was one of the fastest and most dangerous circuits on the F1 calendar. After closing in 1987 it reopened as the A1-Ring in 1996 (F1 returned in 1997), and following Red Bull's takeover (around 2004) it reopened as the Red Bull Ring in 2011. It has been a fixture on the F1 calendar ever since.
